Salam Aidilfitri,
Kami bertolak ke Tumpat, Kelantan pada hari Jumaat, 19-September 2009, jam 4.00 pagi. Nak elak jem la konon. Fobia memandu selama 13 jam pada hari raya 2-3 tahun dulu masih terasa. Sakit pinggang, lenguh kaki dan sebagainya memang perit untuk ditanggung. Mata pun dah terlalu mengantuk.
Kali ini jam 3.00 pagi menjadi pilihan tapi terlewat sejam gara-gara menyediakan sandwich untuk bersahur. Jam 5.15 pagi kami tiba di Petronas sebelum tol Bentong untuk bersahur dan solat Subuh. Ramainya orang yang nak ke pantai timur. Nak ke 'toilet'? "Ambik nombor bang!......
Tiba waktu subuh kawasan sekitar Petronas menjadi lengang. Tak ramai yang menunaikan solat. So, tak payah nak bersesak-sesak semasa ambil wudhu'. Selesai solat kami meneruskan perjalanan. Bandar Bentong sesak dengan kenderaan. Dua masjid dipenuhi dengan kenderaan. Oohhh! Di sini rupanya mereka berhenti solat subuh. Masya Allah! Su'us Dhzan. Masjid di bentong lebih besar dan selesa daripada surau di hentian Petronas.
Kami meneruskan perjalanan. Perlahan saja. Banyak kereta. Tak berani nak pecut. Walaupun dengan enjin Mitsubishi 4G91 yang baru ditukar, aku tak berani memecut laju apalagi memotong kenderaan dihadapan. Selain keluarga aku, Kak long dan 2 orang anaknya turut ikut sekali. Lapan nyawa dalam kereta. Tak berbaloi aku memperjudikan nyawaku dan nyawa mereka yang aku sayangi. Sesekali berhenti berehat dan qada' hajat. Mengantuk jangan cerita la. Apa lagi... Co-driver ada. Tukar kejap. Sempat jugak la terlena. Lepas tu tukar balik.......
Abang Ngah tanya, "Bila nak sampai ni? Abang Ngah rindu Tok Ma". Hmmmm ye la tu.... Bila dah jumpa Paksu Yo & Ayah Wan, jangankan Tok Ma, mama & abah pun dah tak nampak.
Lepas 10 jam baru sampai. Tunggu buka puasa. Hmmm rileks kejap la....letih ni. Zzzzzzzzzzzzz

PPSMI - A Political Moves
Salam,
This issue is a little bit 'basi' already. But i still want to comment.
It is truly a political moves. That is my opinion on the government decision to stop teaching math and science in English. Why? Simply because the general election is just few years ahead and action had to be taken to make sure BN is still in power in next general election.
There were several street demonstration organize by the opposition and some NGOs to protest against the PPSMI. These would worries the BN to loose power in the next general election.
Also, I wonder why, certain people would encourage others not to do something for the benefits off our children. This is their future we are talking about. As for me, I'm not well versed in English. I am aware of that. And that's make me feel incomplete. I strive hard to do whatever it takes to master myself in English because its gonna help me a lot in my career.
Bukannya kita tidak boleh berbahasa melayu. Kita ni akan asal-usulnya daripada orang Melayu. Mestilah kita fasih berbahasa Melayu. Akan tetapi komunikasi berterusan dalam bahasa selain daripada bahasa ibunda sedikit sebanyak turut menyumbang dalam pelbagai hal.
Books, journals and references are all in English excepts text books written by local lecturers and produced by local universities that have been widely use in local universities. Other that than we are more dependent to the other writers and scholar from other parts of the world.
Not many of us can understand the views of Tun Dr Mahathir. In 22 years we have seen so many changes in Malaysia. Just to mentioned one of them is 'Dasar pandang Ke Timur'. Nowadays, how many Malaysians were graduated from top Japanese universities? They bring back knowledge and technologies to build this countries. Japanese capabilities are more better than Malaysian. Even now our Proton is still way behind Honda or Toyota.
If we want to move forward, first we must admit that we are lack of something and must be willing to unlearn and learn again.

Time Zone
Am I in a different world?
Aarghhh! The time zone is wrong. My last posting stated Friday 19-June-2009. That was yesterday. Then only I realize, I did not set the time zone correctly.
I wonder what other people in the other side of the world is doing right now? If in Germany or Austria, they might just started their Saturday. And we, people of Malaysia, might just finished our lunch, spending our time with our families, etc....
But what Palestinians are doing right now? The life threatening country is having their Saturday differently. Some of them may throwing rocks or mortar bombs to the Israelis. What else could they hope for? What else we could do to help them? HELPLESS!!!!!
In Dubai, they are maneuvering the bulldozers, building skyscrapers while in Palestine, the Israelis are using the same machines to demolish the Palestinians houses. The Arabs never care for Muslims in Palestine.
In other parts of the world, some of them are fighting with H1N1. More cases were reported every single day and Malaysia is not excluded. Before, it was called 'Pig Flu'. Then they came out with more scientific name; Influenza A H1N1. WTF.... still came from the same source. The best way to handle crisis is to go directly to the source.
Things happened differently in different parts of the world. Wonder what would happen next?

Being a blogger is new to me. So many things to write but don't know where to start. Since I posted 'Taaruf 2 last April (about 2 months ago), this is the time i had my chance to read other blogs. Tun Dr. M's was my fav. Beside Azrulkronikel, I also read A.Kadir Jasin's blog.
Then I saw 1 comment in 'Taaruf 2'. It was from my sahabat, Azrul, "Bila nak update haiyan ni oiiii". Banyak betul 'iiii' dia..... hehehehehe. Sori la Azrul. Not really into it yet. Baru nk warm up.
Well guys... Lunch time. My wife is a great cook. Looks very SEDAP to me.... Mmmmmmm

Ta'aruf 2
Assalamualaikum......
Sahabat2, kenalan sekalian.....
Macam2 bende nk tulis ni. Tapi tak lah pulak aku ada attend special course untuk penulisan. Walaubagaimanapun, ini adalah platform terbaik untuk kita sama-sama terlibat dalam percambahan idea dan sebagainya.
Walaupun blog ni dah lama wujud, tapi baru sekarang tergerak hati untuk melibatkan diri secara langsung dalam penulisan blog. Hebat juga penangan blog ni. Hampir2 menyebabkan Malaysia bertukar kerajaan.
Di mana letaknya kekuatan blog ni? Bagi merungkai persoalan tersebut, maka wujudlah seorang lagi blogger....... Aku lah tu.....
Apa yang akan aku jumpa. Tunggu dan lihat! Cukup kah sekadar tunggu dan lihat? Aku akan turut serta menulis. Sahabat2 dan kenalan dijemput untuk turut serta. Bersama2 meng'imarahkan majlis ilmu.....
