This conversation took place yesterday just before 'bukak pose'
Nabila : Abah.... Raya besok eh?
Me : Tak lah. Hari Jumaat kot......
Nabila : Alaaaa.... Lambatnya.....
Me : Tak laa... Lagi 4 hari jer.... Hari ni Selasa, besok Rabu. Hari Khamis kita balik rumah nenek. Hari Jumaat Raya la.....
Nabila : Yea!!!!!
Hmm.....My kids are excited about Hari Raya. Of course.... they will get the 'duit raya', playing with their cousins, eating kuih raya...... Nope! No eating, play only until they flattened themselves on the floor while calling out loud mama for milk, "Mama..... nak susu".
Datuk & Nenek will not have their nice and quiet moment on the first day of Hari Raya. All the grandkids will be there, running, fighting and shouting all over the house....... Datuk & Nenek want to rest? Wait until midnight la kot. When all of them go to bed...... But its good though... Everybody gather together, once a year. Mak Ngah, Mak Lang, Mak Anjang, Auntie and Paksu and their families as well will be there also.
Can't wait.......
